Heating …
The lodge is heated by a combination of an air to air heat pump and propane furnace and by the wood insert fireplace located in the Great Room. Propane is only used when the heat pump needs a “boost”. When the wood fireplace is burning the house is heated quite nicely with a minimum of heat from the heat pump.
